Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 cups pasta


  • 1 tsp oil


  • 1 pinch salt to taste


  • 6 cups water


  • 1 nos bay leaf


  • 4 nos green cardomom


  • 4 nos black paper


  • 4 nos cloves


  • 1 nos small cinmmon stick


  • 250 gms for chicken tikka marination : chicken bonless


  • 1 tbsp thick yogurt


  • 1 tbsp kashmiri chili powder


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1/2 tsp soya sauce


  • 1 tbsp corn flour


  • 1 pinch salt to taste


  • 1/4 cups oil for shallow frying


  • 2 tbsp for gravy : oil


  • 1 cups chopped onion


  • 1 cups chopped tomato


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 3 tsp yogurt


  • 1 tsp chili powder


  • 1 tsp biryani masala powder


  • 1/4 tsp turmirc powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder


  • 1/4 cups for garnishing : fried onion


  • 3 tbsp chopped coriander and mint


  • 6-8 nos fried cashews

Directions

  • take water, salt, oil, all whole spices in a pot and put it on medium flame add pasta in boiling water and cook for few minutes. remove pot from the heat and strain the water and keep aside.
  • Take a large bowl and add Yogurt, Lemon Juice, Ginger Garlic Paste, , Red Chili Powder, soya sauce, corn flour and salt mix it well. Now add Chicken and mix it well. and keep aside 20 minutes.
  • then shallow fry chicken on medium flame .
  • take another pan add some oil fry the onion till little golden then add ginger garlic paste and cook for few minutes .
  • then add chopped tomato, green chili, yogurt , chili powder, biryani masala, turmirc powder, and salt and cook on medium flame till mixture is perfectly cooked. then add chicken Tikka and mix well and keep aside.
  • now in pot spread one layer of boiled pasta then add a layer of chicken Tikka gravy, fried onion, mint leaves, coriander leaves and cashews and then spread one more layer of boiled pasta over it now again add fried onions, mint leaves, coriander leaves and pieces of fried Chicken.
  • now on medium flame put a tava and on that tava put the above pot and cover it properly keep it for 15 minutes.
  • pasta biryani is now ready serve it hot
