Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 750 grams King Fish

  • 750 grams rice

  • 2tbs ginger garlic paste

  • 2onion

  • 2tbs chilli pd

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric pd

  • 1/2 tbs coriander powder

  • 1tsp biryani masala

  • 4 tomatoes

  • 1/4 cup mint

  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves

  • 1/2 cup oil

  • 1tbs ghee

  • 2cardamoms, 2cloves cinnamon , black pepper and shahijeera

  • 3 tbs salt

  • 1/4tspLittle orange colour

  • 1lemon juice

Directions

    First marinate fish with turmeric ,salt, 1tbs redchilli pd and lemon.

    Heat oil and Fry onion till golden brown

  • 03

    Ina kadai take oil add 1tbs ginger garlicpaste and stir tillraw smell goes

    Add tomato puree

  • 05

    Add grinded or crushed brownonion

  • 06

    Add red chilli pd, coriander pd,mintleaves, coriander leaves, biryani masala very little salt and cook till oil seprates from masala

    Now add fish and cook for only 1 min.

    Check seasoning and switch off the gas

    Add 2-3 chopped greenchillies

    Keep water for boiling

  • 11

    Add 1-2 drops of oil, whole garam masala and salt

  • 12

    Once the water starts boil add rice and cook till80%

  • 13

    Drain the water from rice

  • 14

    Take heavy bottom vessel keep one layer of rice in the bottom

    Now spread the fish masala over rice,mint leaves, coriander leaves and fried onion

    Cover with another layer of rice

  • 17

    Add coriander leaves, mint, onion, ghee and food colour on top

  • 18

    Cook on low heat till 15 mins or you get smell of biryani.
