Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 250 gms socked chana daal


  • 100 gms boiled potato


  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder


  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs


  • 1/4 tsp chat masala


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder


  • 1 tbsp chopped green coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1 tsp ginger paste


  • 1 tsp chopped green coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp chopped green chilli


  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice


  • 1 pinch salt to taste


  • 2 cups oil for deep fring

Directions

  • Strain the chana dal and grind it in a mixture.
  • Mashed the boiled potato than mix the chana dal paste, salt, breadcrumbs and all ingredients except oil.
  • Mix it and combine well like a dough, and keep it for rest to 10 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into twelve equal parts and shape them into tikkis.
  • In a pan and or kadai, heat oil and deep fry all the kababs medium to low flame.
  • Deep Fry/shallow fry kebabs till golden brown in colour and crispy.
  • Serve these Chana Dal Kebabs with souce, green mint chatany and meethi chatany.
  • Tips : You can add onion and garlic also.
