Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 15 nos mussels cleaned


  • 1 3/4 cups rice flour


  • 1 1/4 cups grated coconut


  • 10-15 nos shallots


  • 1 inch cinnamon


  • 3 tsp fennel seeds


  • 1 1/4 tsp chilli powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 5 nos peppercorns

Directions

  • Mix rice flour and coconut. Keep aside.
  • Blend other ingredients to smooth paste.
  • Adjust salt.
  • Add in the grounded paste to the flour mixture and combine.
  • Add hot water to the mixture and make a dough out of it.
  • Stuff this dough inside the mussel shells.
  • Steam for 15 min.
  • Enjoy it with a glass of plain tea.
