mussels cleaned 15 nos
rice flour 1 3/4 cups
grated coconut 1 1/4 cups
shallots 10-15 nos
cinnamon 1 inch
Fennel seeds 3 tsp
chilli powder 1 1/4 tsp
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
peppercorns 5 nos
Mix rice flour and coconut. Keep aside.
Blend other ingredients to smooth paste.
Add in the grounded paste to the flour mixture and combine.
Add hot water to the mixture and make a dough out of it.
Stuff this dough inside the mussel shells.
Steam for 15 min.
Enjoy it with a glass of plain tea.
