green moong dal 2 cups
chana dal,soaked for 3 to 4 hours 1/4 cups
salt or to taste 1/2 tsp
asafoetida (hing) 1 pinch
sugar 2 pinch
green chilli and ginger paste 1 1/2 tsp
crumbled paneer 8 tbsp
finely chopped coriander 2 tbsp
chaat masala 1 tsp
dried pudina powder 2 tsp
Paneer masala 1/2 tsp
medium onion finely chopped 1 nos
tomato finely chopped 1 nos
small capsicum finely chopped 1 nos
extra virgin olive oil for roasting each chilla 1/4 tsp
Combine the moong and chana dal along with little water and blend in a mixer till smooth.
Transfer it to a bowl, add the salt, asafoetida, sugar and green chilli-ginger paste and mix well.
For filling- -mix paneer, onions, capsicum, tomato, salt, chaat masala, paneer masala and mint powder.
Heat 1/4 teaspoon of olive oil in a tava and pour a ladle full of the batter and spread it evenly to make a thin round of 6 inches.
Flip and cook from other side also
Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of paneer mixture and fold the chilla and cook on a medium flame, till it turns golden brown in colour from both the sides.
Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make more chillas
Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney or coconut chutney. Enjoy.
