Serves : 4
  • 2 cups for dough : maida

  • 1/4 cups oil

  • 1/2 cups spinach puree

  • 1/4 cups beetroot puree

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 4 nos for stuffing: boiled potato

  • 1/4 tsp haldi pwd

  • 1/4 tsp jeera

  • 1 tsp dhania pwd

  • 1/4 tsp red chilli pwd

  • 1/4 tsp garam masala pwd

  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala

  • 1 pinch salt to taste

  • 7-8 nos cloves

  • 1/4 cups some kaju and raisins


  • In mixing bowl take maida,salt and oil and mix well so that oil coat maida properly and its look like bread crumbs.Take out 1/4 portion of maida in separate bowl
  • Add palak puree in the bigger bowl and make a stiff dough and in second bowl add beetroot puree and make a dough.
  • Now take a lemon size portion of green dough and roll it in a circle put the stuffing in center and make like potali as in pic. like this make all the potali
  • now with red dough make a strip and fold it around the neck of potali and assemble it with help of clove now potali is ready for deep frying .
  • fry it in low flame till golden and its ready to serve.
