  • 3 tbsp everest sambar masala

  • 1/2 tsp everest garam masala

  • 1 bowls tuar dal

  • 1 tsp salt to taste

  • 2 cups chopped veggies like ripe pumpkin, bottle gourd, carrot, french beans, drum sticks, tomato and onion.

  • 2 tsp imli ka pulp

  • 1 tsp for tempering :mustard seeds

  • 8-10 nos curry leaves

  • 1 nos dry whole red chilli


  • wash and soak the tuar dal for one hour,
  • Pressure cook the dal with a tsp of salt and all vegetables for about 3 whistles.
  • Switch off the gas and let the pressure release by itself.
  • In the meantime heat 2 tsp of oil for tempering and add curry leaves , mustard seeds and dry whole red chilli.
  • Add this tempering, tamarind pulp, garam masala and sambhar masala in the sambhar, cook for 5 minutes bring to a boil and its ready to serve.
