Serves : 4
  • 1 cups basmati rice

  • 1 nos onion

  • 1 nos carrot

  • 1 nos potato

  • 1/2 nos chopped cauliflower

  • 1 nos biryani masala packet

  • 1/2 cups curd

  • 1/2 cups green peas

  • 1 tsp ghee

  • 1 pinch salt


  • One cup rice soaked it for half a hour
  • Cut one onion, carrot, potato, cauliflower
  • Make paste of veg biryani masala in half
  • Make paste of veg biryani masala in half cup curd
  • Cook rice till three fourth done let it cool
  • Heat ghee in a wok and add chopped onion cook it till brown add masala paste and stir than add veggies and green peas and add one cup water and cook it covered as cooked switch off the flame
  • In a big wok layer with rice than cooked veggies again with rice and veggies sprinkle ghee over it add chopped coriander and mint and cook it covered for five minutes garnish it with fried onion and serve it with onion raita
