  • 1 cups boiled green peas

  • 1/2 cups rice flour

  • 1/2 cups besan

  • 1/4 cups turmeric pwd

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped green chilly

  • 1 pinch salt to taste

  • 1/2 tsp fruit salt

  • 2 tsp oil for greasing and cooking

  • 1/4 cups grated paneer

  • 1/2 cups grated carrot

  • 1/4 cups chopped tomatoes

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1 pinch salt to taste


  • Grind the pea in a blender to a coarse paste using very little water Transfer the paste to a bowl add rice flour, besan, turmeric powder, garam masala , green chilly, salt and water as required and mix well to make a batter of pouring consistency
  • Just before making the pancake add the fruit salt and mix gently
  • Heat nonstick tava and grease it lightly with oil
  • Pour a spoonful of the batter on the tava and spread it and make a circle
  • Sprinkle little paneer, carrot and tomato over it and smear a little oil along the edges of pancake
  • When cooked on one side turn it over and cook on the other side for a few seconds
  • Serve hot
