soak dal and rice for 1 hour
heat ghee in a cooker and add heeng and jeera
as it crackle add ginger chilly paste and stir the add laung,elliachi,bay leaf and cinnamon stick.
now add soak rice and dal and mix it
add water ,red chilly pwd ,garam masala pwd ,haldi and salt
cover it with lid and let it cook till two whistle
kichidi is ready to serve
serve it with papad,curd,chutney,salad and achaar
