  • 1/2 kg - king fish

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp gingergarlic paste

  • 1 tsp salt (as per the requirement)

  • 4 tsp oil

  • 1 tsp water


  • Clean the fish with salt and turmeric powder and keep aside
  • In a bowl add salt,turmeric powder,gingergarlic paste and red chilli powder.
  • Add water along with this and make a masala paste
  • Marinate the fish using masala paste and rest aside for 10 mins
  • Heat a pan add oil and fry the fish on both sides
  • Madras Meen Varuval is ready to serve..
