Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 cups wheat flour


  • 1/4 cups semolina


  • 1/4 cups besan /gram flour


  • 1 tsp oil


  • 1/2 tsp everest chilli powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tsp saunf powder


  • 2 pinch asafoetida /hing


  • 1 tsp kasuri methi


  • 1/2 tsp everest garam masala


  • 1/2 tsp amchur powder


  • 1/4 tsp salt or to taste


  • 1 cups oil for frying pooris

Directions

  • Take wheat flour semolina, gram flour in a big bowl add all the spice powders, oil and very little salt to taste
  • Make the dough like that of paranthas, it should not be too hard.
  • Take a small lemon sized masala dough and make a small ball.
  • Roll out the ball in a shape of poori with a rolling pin using 2 drops of oil instead of of wheat flour.
  • When the oil is properly heated drop the poori carefully and fry the poori till it is golden brown turning occasionally from time to time.
  • Take out the fluffy pooris on an absorbent paper.
  • Serve hot with shahi paneer curry or any other curry you like and raita
