Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 1/2 cups maida


  • 1 tsp yeast


  • 1 tbsp butter


  • 1/8 tsp salt


  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • 1/4 cups water


  • 2 tbsp milk


  • 1/2 cups sweet mawa


  • 1 cups gajar ka halwa


  • 4-5 nos dates

Directions

  • Take 1/4 cup warm water and add sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and place it in a warm place for few minutes until frothy.
  • Mix salt and butter in the flour and knead adding the frothy yeast water and milk as needed.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl to rise.
  • Take the risen dough and flatten it or roll it .
  • Place it in a greased baking tray.
  • Spread the Gajar ka halwa evenly.
  • Sprinkle the mawa on top.
  • Garnish with sliced dates.
  • Bake it in a pre-heated oven at 250 C for 22 to 25 minutes until done.
  • Serve warm or chilled .
