oats and Roasted redbell pepper soup

  • Oats /1/4 cup

  • water - 4 cups

  • oil 1 tsp

  • Carrot - 2 tbsps finely chopped,

  • sprouted moong -2tbsps

  • Roasted bell pepper chopped,1/2 or –to taste

  • Garlic - 1 tsp

  • Onion - 2 tbsp finely chopped

  • Oregano / Any mixed herbs - 1/8 tsp

  • Coriander leaves - 2 tsp finely chopped


  • Chop carrot,garlic and onions finely and make it ready. First heat a pan with saffola oil . add garlic and saute till golden brown then add onion and saute till slightly browned then add carrots,sprouted moong.
  • Sauté till raw smell of carrots leave then add oats and fry for 3mins.Then add water and roasted red bell pepper.let it boil till oats gets cooked.
  • Once the veggie turn slightly soft add and let it simmer for 2mins.Add required salt and black pepper powder. Then add oregano, and garnish with coriander leaves and switch off.Serve hot .
