Roasted Capsicum & Sweet Corn Soup

Serves : 4
  • 1 nos capsicum medium size

  • 1 1/2 cups american sweet corn(boiled)

  • 1 nos onion

  • 1 nos garlic clove

  • 1/2 cups milk

  • 1 tbsp corn flour

  • 1/4 tsp corn flour

  • 1/2 tsp salt to taste

  • 2 pinch black pepper powder

  • 1/2 cups water

  • 1 tbsp oil


  • Take the capsicum and roast it directly on the gas flame
  • When cool ...peel the skin ..cut into half .....remove the seeds....and chop roughly
  • In the meantime take a mixer jar and blend the boiled corn and milk to a coarse paste
  • Keep aside some for garnish
  • Now in a deep pan put little oil...when hot add chopped onions and garlic...saute fpr a few minutes
  • Then add the chopped capsicum and blended corn & milk paste
  • Take little water and add the corn flour in it.
  • Pour this in the soup....and bring to boil...Add water if required and bring to the consistency you like...
  • Put salt and red chilly flakes
  • Garnish with some corn... and chilly flakes. Sprinkle black pepper powder.. Serve hot ...
