Serves : 4
  • 1/4 litre milk

  • 1 cups soaked rice( without water & dried)

  • 5 nos elachi

  • 1/2 kgs jaggery

  • 1/2 cups coconut

  • 3/4 cups moong dal

  • 1 litre water


  • 1.Dry the rice and blend it until smooth powder. 2. Dry the powder without any water or moisture. 3.Fry the powder till it is deeply fried. 4. Add little hot water to the powder and mix it without any balls forming. 5. Roll them into very small rolls( thin in size).6. Keep them aside until they become hard they look like this..
  • Fry moong dal in light flame till it becomes light gold colour. Take another pan and add 1 litre of water. After the water is boiled put the moong dal. After the moong dal is cooked add jaggery. Cook the jaggery in low flame. Add little rolls of rice and cook it. After 5min add little more rolls. Continue this process. Add boiled milk and cook it. Add elachi. Cook it in low flame about 20 min. Add grated coconut to it and cook it for 5 min
  • Garnish it with chopped almonds and sliced pista. Serve it hot or cold.
