Sweet Corn And Vegetable Soup

  • 1 1/4 cups boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)

  • 1/2 cups boiled and crushed sweet corn kernels

  • 1 cups finely chopped mixed veggies

  • 2-3 sprig spring onions chopped

  • 4 1/4 cups water

  • 1/2 tsp salt or as needed

  • 1 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder (optional)


  • Combine the cornflour and ¼ cup of water in a small bowl and mix well till the cornflour dissolves completely. Keep aside.
  • Heat the butter in a deep pan add ginger and garlic paste. Saute on medium flame for a few seconds.
  • Add sweet corn kernels, crushed sweet corn kernels, mixed veggies and saute on medium flame for 2 minute. Stir continuously.Note= I used carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, potato. You can use your favourite veggies.😊
  • Add water and boil till all the veggies get cooked. Cooking on a low to medium flame makes the soup taste better. Add spring onions, salt and pepper.
  • When soup starts boiling add corn starch water and stir continuously. Cook for another 4-5 minutes or till it thickens.
  • Garnish with some chopped spring onions. Serve sweet corn soup hot or warm.Enjoy ☺
