  • 100 gms spaghetti pasta

  • 12-14 nos prawns

  • 1 tbsp garlic cloves (chopped)

  • 1/4 cups white wine

  • 4 tbsp creme fraiche

  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder

  • 2 tbsp chives - (i didn't have chives, so i added chopped green chillies and mixed herbs)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  • Boil ample amount of water in a saucepan with little salt, once it starts boiling, add the spaghetti and let it cook for at least 9-11 minutes..
  • Meanwhile heat a pan with olive oil.
  • Once heated, add chopped Garlic, saute for just about a minute and then add the white wine to deglaze (if you want to avoid wine, then add the boiling water from the pasta).
  • Once the above mixture in the pan starts boiling/bubbling, add creme fraiche, and then the prawns.
  • The prawns will cook in this slurry, and then pink, once they are so, add salt, pepper.
  • Drain the pasta and add to the cooking sauce. Stir well till the sauce dries up.
  • Check for seasoning , sprinkle thw chives and serve, you can also add some grated parmesan cheese on top.
