  • dates, pitted 3/4 cups

  • all-purpose flour 1 cups

  • baking powder 1 tsp

  • cinnamon 3/4 tsp

  • salt 1/2 tsp

  • brown sugar 1/2 cups

  • agave nectar 1/4 cups

  • eggs 2 nos

  • vanilla 1 tsp

  • pecans, chopped and roasted 1/2 cups

  • Noor Oil 3/4 cups


  • Preheat oven to 170°C.
  • Place dates in bowl and cover with very hot water. Let them soak and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together Noor Oil, brown sugar, agave nectar, eggs and vanilla. Slowly add in the flour mix.
  • Drain water from the dates and chop fine.
  • Mix chopped dates in batter. Add pecans.
  • Line the cake pan with Noor Oil
  • Pour batter in pan and bake for 1 hour.
