First wash and peel off the pointed gaurds and make cut marks.
In a bowl add pointed gaurds, a pinch salt and a pinch of Turmeric pd , mix and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
Now heat up a kadai, add oil and fry all the pointed gaurds in simmer gas flame. keep aside on a plate.
Now on the same kadai, add more oil if required then add Panchforan , bay leaf, red chilli fry two minutes.
Now add sliced onions, green chiili and ginger paste fry until it turns golden.
Then add chopped tomatoes , salt, Turmeric pd and fried pointed gaurds and cook in low flame for 10-15 minutes.
Now check if cooked nicely then add poppy seeds paste and little water and make it boil.
