Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 100 g urad dal vadiyan


  • 2 medium sized onions


  • 4 medium sized tomatoes


  • 2 potatoes


  • 30 g frozen peas


  • 1 teaspoon degi mirch


  • 1 teaspoon garam masala


  • 1 table spoon curd


  • 1 table spoon desi ghee


  • 30 g coriander leaves for garnishing


  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

Directions

  • Make a paste of onion tomato in a mixer and keep it aside..
  • Now in a pressure cooker , add ghee , warm it on a medium flame ..
  • Add jeera..allow it to splutter . Add onion tomato paste and roast them till it leaves the ghee from the sides .
  • Add curd and stir it thoroughly .
  • Add all spices and vadis and roast it for 5 minutes
  • Add cut potatoes into cubes ..
  • Add peas
  • Add water and adjust its consistency .
  • Close the lid of the cooker .Give 2 whistles..
  • After 2 whistles, release the steam , add chopped coriander leaves and kasoori methi
