Ingredients

Serves 10

  • Whole Wheat Flour 2 cups

  • Sugar 1/2 cups

  • Black Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

  • Ghee 4 tbsp

  • Water as required 1/2 cups

  • Ghee for deep frying 1 cups

  • Yogurt 1/4 cups

  • Pistachio powder 1/4 cups

  • Almonds 30 nos

  • Poppy Seeds 4 tbsp

  • Powdered Sugar for garnishing 2 tbsp

Directions

    In A Bowl , Take Whole Wheat Flour .

    Add Ghee , Sugar , Cardamom Powder And Start Mixing Together .

    Start Kneading The Dough By Adding Required Water Gradually .

    Knead To A Soft Dough . Grease The Dough With Ghee .

    Cover And Rest For 20 Minutes . Heat Ghee In A Pan For Deep Frying .

    Divide The Dough Into Medium Sized Balls .

    Press Each Ball In Between Palms To Flatten The Ball To Disc Like Thick Roths. Shouldn’t Be Thin . Brush Roths With Yogurt . Gently Press Almonds On Every Roth .

    Sprinkle Poppy Seeds . Sprinkle Pistachio Powder .

  • 09

    Now Gently Drop Roths One By One In The Hot Ghee . Fry Till Golden Brown In Medium Heat .

    Puffy Aromatic Roths Are Ready . Garnish With Pistachio Powder And Powdered Sugar .
