Clean and wash all the lentils.
After that add it into a pressure cooker.
Also add 4 cups of water.
Cook it for 2-3 whistles.
After that turn off the flame.
And let pressure cooker cool down itself.
Meanwhile take a bowl.
Add Red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam Masala Powder.
Mix all the Ingredients well.
Now add little water and mix it well.
Keep aside.
Now heat ghee in one pan.
After heating ghee, add cloves, bay leaf, cumin seeds, Green Chillies and asafoetida.
When Cumin Seeds starts crackle, add prepared masla paste into it.
Saute it for 2 minites.
After that add cooked daal into it.
Mix it well.
Add tamarind pulp and dried mango powder.
Add salt to taste.
Mix it well.
Add water as require to ajdust the consistency.
Simmer it for 5 minutes.
After that turn off the flame.
Keep daal aside.
Now take a bowl.
Add wheat flour, gram flour and semolina into it.
Also add milk and ghee.
Add salt to taste.
Now kneed into a firm dough.
Add water if require.
Kneed it well for 5 minites.
Now divde the dough into 8 equal parts.
And shape each part into the round shape.
Flatten the rounds lightly using hands and make an indication in thr center of baati.
Now take a baati maker.
And place the baaties into it.
Cook it for 15-20 minites.
When the baaties are cooked remove it from maker and keep aside.
Now take a large pot.
Add ghee into it.
Dip the baatis into it for 10 minites.
After that drain it.
Serve hot with daal and churma.
Pour the ghee into it while eating.
