  • Onion 1 medium

  • Mustard Seeds 1 tsp

  • Sesame Seeds 1 tsp

  • Curd 1 tbsp

  • Peanut 1 tbsp

  • Castor Sugar 1 tsp

  • Haldi 1 tsp

  • Green Chilli 4

  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp

  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp

  • Mustard oil 1 tsp

  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp

  • Grated Coconut 1 tbsp

  • Salt as per taste

  • Red Chilli powder as per taste

  • Tej Patta 1-2


  • Take a pan, add peanuts ,grated coconut,sesame seeds ,cumin seeds,mustard seeds and roast it as well.Blend the mixture with water to make a smooth paste. Take the lauki ,peel and cut in to 1/2 inch rounds then wash them and shallow fry. Now heat the oil and onion cook till its golden in colour.Now add the ginger garlic paste and let it cook for few min.and add haldi,coriander powder ,red chilli powder mix and let it cook till the oil seperates. Now add the paste with 1 glass of full of water and add 1/2 inch round lauki mix it well and bring in to boil .then lower the flame and cook it for 15 min. Add curd and mix it well.then cover and cook till the oil seperate itself.and add the sugar and salt to taste.cover and cook it for few min. Garnish with coriander leaves and green chilli .
