  • Barnyard millet / Samvat ke chawal ( vari tandul in Marathi) 1-2 cups


  • Ghee 1 tablespoon


  • Jeera 1 to 2 teaspoon


  • Chopped green chillies 2


  • Roasted peanuts powder 1 tablespoons


  • Roasted peanuts 1 tablespoon


  • Salt 1 teaspoon


  • Chopped coriander 1 tablespoon


  • Butter milk 1 glass for Aamti


  • curd 1 tablespoon

Directions

  • First of all , wash samvat rice and soak in sufficient water for approximately 10 minutes and arrange all required ingredients
  • Later heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a heavy bottom pan and add jeera, chopped green chillies, and peanuts
  • Now, remove excess water from rice add it. saute' for some time
  • add 2 cups of water 1 tablespoon of curd ...
  • Adjust salt according to taste ,mix well and cook covered for next 5 minutes
  • Lastly add chopped coriander leaves and vari bhaat or samvat ke chawal is ready to serve
