Ingredients

  • Mushrooms 100gm(wash & cut into small pieces), tomato 1(cut into small pieces), onion 1(cut into small pieces), garlic 5-6 pods, green chilli 2-3 , turmeric powder1/4 tsp, salt as per taste,mustard oil a required.For spice paste- Mustard seeds 1 tbsp , cumin seeds 1/2 tsp , garlic 5-6 pods ,green chilli -1.

Directions

  • Clean & wash the mushrooms & cut into small pieces.Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadai or pan & fry the mushrooms with little salt on high flame for about 4-5 mints.After 5 mint remove the mushrooms & keep aside. Mix well the fried mushrooms , tomato, spice paste , turmeric pow, salt, mustard oil ,whole green chilli with garlic pods. Put the mixture on the middle of a banana leaf ,sprinkle one tsp oil on the top & wrap it carefully so that the mixture should not comeout from the wrap, the tie it with green raw thread .Bake it for 20-25 mints in a charcoal or gas stove in a clay pot or any tawa on low flame. Also you can grill it in oven nicely. You need to flip the wrap if you are grilling it After 20-25 mint remove the wrap from the stove. Then remove the leaf & serve the dish with boil rice.
