Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Paneer cubes 100 g

  • 1/2 cup poppy seeds paste

  • 3 green chilli chopped

  • 1 tbsp salt or according to taste

  • 3 tbsp Mustard oil

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder

  • 2 onions sliced

  • 1 tomato chopped

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 3-4 Cashew

  • 3-4 raisins

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

Directions

    In a bowl take panner cubes, add a pinch of Turmeric pd and salt , mix well and allow it to rest fir 30 minutes.

    Now heat up a pan, add oil and fry panner for 3-4 minutes.

    Now add oil if required, after heating add cumin seeds, bay leaf and dry fruits.

    Now add sliced onions, green chiilis and fry until it turns golden.

    Then add chopped tomatoes, salt, Turmeric pd , red chilli powder and cook for 10 minutes in simmer gas until it becomes soft nicely.

    Now add poppy seeds paste and 1/2 cup of water , after boiling, add panner cubes and cook for 5 minutes.

    Panner postu is ready to serve
