Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1/2 cups urad dal


  • 1/4 cups chana dal


  • 2 nos green chillies chopped


  • 1 tsp freshly chopped corriander


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 pinch asafoetida


  • 1 nos onion sliced


  • 2 tsp pure ghee


  • 1 pinch chat masala


  • 3-4 nos garlic cloves chopped


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

Directions

  • Boil dal until they become mashy and set aside
  • Now heat ghee in a pan and golden fry onion slices and keep aside
  • In the remaining oil add cumin seeds asafoetida, corriander leaves, green chilli
  • Pour the tadka in the dal and mix golden frid onions
  • Now heat little oil in a pan and cook garlic cloves and red chilli powder
  • Pour this tadka on the dal and serve hot
