MANGO CHUTNEY WITH WHOLE SPICES

Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 2 nos raw mango - peeled & roughly chopped


  • 2 tbsp coriander seeds


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp fennel seeds


  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek


  • 8 nos garlic cloves


  • 4 nos red chillies


  • 1/4 cups mustard oil

Directions

  • Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan on medium heat then reduce heat to low.
  • Add chillies, garlic, coriander, cumin, fennel and fenugreek seeds one by one and fry till aroma comes out. Take out from pan and cool down naturally.
  • Put all seeds except garlic cloves in chutney jar and make fine powder.
  • Now add garlic cloves, mango pieces, salt, 2 tbsp water and grind again till it becomes smooth paste.
  • Now take out little quantity of chutney and taste it. Adjust salt according to your preference and grind again for few seconds.
  • Take out in a bottle. Now add rest of oil in chutney and mix well.
