Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Tuar daal 1 small glass

  • Rice 1 small glass

  • Ginger 1 tsp grated

  • Red dry chilli 3-4

  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp chopped

  • Musturd seeds 1 tsp

  • Ghee 3 tsp

  • Asafoetida 1 pinch

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Directions

    Wash both daal and rice

  • 02

    In a pressure cooker heat ghee crackle musturd seeds

  • 03

    Add asafoetida dry red chilli

  • 04

    Add salt turmeric powder in it

  • 05

    Add daal and rice in it

  • 06

    Mix it nicely

  • 07

    Add water in it

  • 08

    Close the pressure cooker take 2 whistles

  • 09

    Garnish with coriander leaves

  • 10

    Serve with chutneys/pickles/papads/salad
