Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Tuar daal 1 small glass


  • Rice 1 small glass


  • Ginger 1 tsp grated


  • Red dry chilli 3-4


  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp chopped


  • Musturd seeds 1 tsp


  • Ghee 3 tsp


  • Asafoetida 1 pinch


  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Directions

  • Wash both daal and rice
  • In a pressure cooker heat ghee crackle musturd seeds
  • Add asafoetida dry red chilli
  • Add salt turmeric powder in it
  • Add daal and rice in it
  • Mix it nicely
  • Add water in it
  • Close the pressure cooker take 2 whistles
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Serve with chutneys/pickles/papads/salad
