Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1.5 cup all purpose flour / maida


  • 1.5 cup sugar


  • 1 cup milk or more


  • 4 green Cardamom


  • 2 tbsp desi ghee


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 3-4 cups Refined oil for deep fry

Directions

  • In a pan add milk, allow it to boil then add ghee, salt and 2 tbsp of sugar.
  • After melting sugar and ghee , add all purpose flour slowly and mix with spatula.
  • When the milk absorbed turn off the gas.
  • Allow it to cool, then knead a dough and cover it for 15 minutes.
  • Now make balls of lemon size and make thin chapati.
  • Now with the help of glass cut it into small circles.
  • Now divided the puris into 3 - 3 pieces , arrange them one above the other
  • Now press with a finger in the middle of these arranged puris.
  • Now make pipes, for these cut a puri into 2 parts and roll them.
  • Now set the pipes on the middle .
  • Now with a knife cut in 3 sides of the arranged puris.
  • Now make flowers, for these stich all the petals one by one. use water if needed for sticking the petals
  • Now heat a kadai, add oil and when it becomes medium heat, simmer the gas flame and fry the roses until it turns golden.
  • Prepare sugar syrup, of one string.
  • When the roses fries pour into the hot sugar syrup.
  • Allow them rest for 15 minutes in the syrup.
  • After 15 minutes, serve on a plate.
