Pomfret 6 whole
Curd 1/2 cup
Red chilli powder 6 tsps Pepper powder 1 tsp
Coriander cumin powder 2 tsp
Fennel powder 1 tsp
Salt 2 tsps or more
Oil 1/2 cup for shallow frying
Mint leaves 1/4 cup
Wash and make slits on the Pomfrets
Apply turmeric, salt, pepper and lemon.Rub well all over and inside the slits. Marinate for 15 minutes
Take curd in a cup. Add the remaining spice powders.
Add torn mint leaves.
Start Applying the marination to every fish
Marinate all. Leave for an hour in the fridge.
Heat 2 tbsps oil in a pan. Place the fish on the pan. Cook for around 8 minutes on one side.
Turn and cook for another 8 minutes.
Properly fried fish
Cook all the fish the same way. Enjoy with onion tomatoe rings.
