Soak the rice for 1hour then grind it to a smooth paste.
Heat a pan and add water to it .
Then add sugar,salt and ghee to it.
When the water starts boiling then add the rice paste to it and mix it continuously to avoid sticking at the bottom.
Cook it for 5 minutes in low flame and then switch off the flame keep the dough aside.
In another pan add Jagger to it and then add grated coconut and cardamom powder and mix it well. Cook it also in low flame for 5minutes.
Knead the dough with your hand by greasing your hand with ghee and then make small balls of it.
In the mean time allow the milk to boil in a heavy bottomed vessel.
Make the balls to a bowl shape and add the coconut stuffing in it and close the balls. Follow this process for rest of the dough.
When the milk starts boiling add sugar, cashew nuts and cardamom powder to it and allow it to boil for atleast 10 minutes.
Then pour all the Manda balls into the milk one after another and allow it to boil for 5minutes.
Your Khira Mandas are now ready.
Serve them after cooling down.
It becomes more tastier after cooling them in refrigerator.
