4 ridgegourd peeled and chopped
1/2 cup chana dal soaked for 30 minutes
5 garlic cloves
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp salt
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
Add garlic and let it turn brown. Keep stirrinf to avoid mustard from burning.
Add chana dal and chopped ridgegourd , give it a stirr and cook till the extra water is absorbed.Cover till it turns mushy.
