Ingredients

  • 4 ridgegourd peeled and chopped


  • 1/2 cup chana dal soaked for 30 minutes


  • 5 garlic cloves


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
  • Add garlic and let it turn brown. Keep stirrinf to avoid mustard from burning.
  • Add chana dal and chopped ridgegourd , give it a stirr and cook till the extra water is absorbed.Cover till it turns mushy.
