Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup wheat flour


  • 1/2 bikaneri bhujiya


  • 1/4 tsp salt or as needed


  • 1/4 cup water for kneading the dough


  • 1/2 tsp coriander seeds


  • 1 pinch asafoetida (hing)


  • 1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves ( pan methi)


  • 4 tbsp oil


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)

Directions

  • In a bowl add wheat flour, 1 tbsp oil, salt and water. mix well. Make soft dough of it. Cover it and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • In a bowl combine crushed bhujiya, dry masalas, 1 tbsp oil and mix well.
  • Divide the dough in small balls. using fingers make basket shape and fill the bhujiya in it. Seal it properly. Repeat the same process for remaining balls.
  • Now start rolling the balls. Gently press it and roll like chapati.
  • Heat a pan. Cook the poori from both side by drizzling oil on it little by little.
  • Serve hot with curd or pickle. Enjoy 😊
