  • basmati Rice 1 cups

  • Sugar add more or less according to taste 3/4 cups

  • Butter 100 tbsp

  • desi Ghee 1 1/2 tbsp

  • green Cardamom 4 nos

  • Cloves 4 nos

  • chopped Cashew 1/4 cups

  • Raisins 1/4 cups

  • chopped Almonds 1/4 cups

  • dry shreded Coconut 1/4 cups

  • orange marmlade 1 1/2 tbsp

  • red and green food colour each 4-5 drop

  • Kewra 5-6 drop

  • milk 1 tbsp

  • strings Saffron 1/4 tsp

  • zarda food colour 1/8 tsp

  • mavaa 1 tbsp

  • dry and fresh mixed chopped cherries 1/2 cups

    TAKE 1 CUP BASMATI RICE IN A DEEP BOWL ADD WATER AND WASHED NICELY

  • 02

    NOW SOAKED IN SUFFICIENT WATER,COVER IT AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 1 HOUR

    NOW BOIL 3 CUP WATER WITH 2 LEMON WEDGES, WHEN WATER BOIL ADD SOAKED RICE

  • 04

    COOK RICE ONLY 75 TO 80 PERCENT

  • 05

    WHEN DONE STRAIN HOT WATER

  • 06

    DISCARD THE LEMON WEDGES FROM THIS

    MELT BUTTER WITH DESI GHEE IN A PAN

    NOW ADD 4 GREEN CARDAMOM CRUSHED AND 4 CLOVES IN IT

    ADD 1/2 GLASS WATER

    WHEN WATER BOIL ADD 3/4 CUP SUGAR ADD (MORE OR LESS ACCORDING TO TASTE)

    WAIT TO DISSOLVE SUGAR WHEN DONE SWITCH OF GAS

    ADD 1/4 CUP CASHEW AND RAISINS

    ADD 1/4 CUP ALMONDS AND DRY SHREDED COCONUT

    MIX NICELY AND SWITCH ON GAS

    NOW ADD 80% BOILED RICE

    MIX GENTALY DON'T BREAK RICE

    NOW ADD FEW DROPS RED FOOD COLOUR

    FEW DROPS GREEN COLOUR

    TAKE 1 TBSP MILK ADD FEW SAFFRON STRINGS AND SOME ZARDA COLOUR

    ADD FEW DROPS KEWRA

    ADD SOME DRY AND SOME FRESH CHOPPED CHERRIES

    POUR 1/2 TBSP DESI GHEE OVER THE TOP

    NOW COVER IT FOR DUM FOR 12 TO 15 MINUTES

    CLOSE LID WITH DOUGH FOR STOP STEAM OUT

    WHEN DONE AGAIN MIX GENTALY

    ADD 1 TBSP MAVAA AND MIX

    TRANSFER IN SERVING PLATE AND TOP WITH CHERRIES AND SOME MAVAA

    NOW MUTANJAN (SWEET RICE) IS READY TO SERVE
