Serves : 5
  • 1 kg mutton with bones

  • 1/2 kg whisked curd

  • 4 onion julien

  • 1 onion fried (brown)

  • 6 to 8 coarsaly crushed black pepper

  • 3 tbsp corriender powder

  • 2 tsp dry ginger powder (saunth)

  • 2 tsp fennel powder

  • 1/2 cup pure ghee

  • 1 tsp or Salt as per taste

  • 10 to 12 mint leaves


  • First heat the ghee in a pan and add julien onion fry till light brown in colour
  • Now add whisked curd and cook for 2 minutes on low flame
  • When onion and curd nicely cooked add mutton pieces in this and stir
  • Now add corrinder, fennel, dry ginger and crushed black in it and stir nicely
  • Now add salt and fresh chopped corrinder and stir again
  • Add some water and close the lid and cook to till nicely tender
  • When it's tender add fried onion and cook again for 1 minute in low flame
  • Now Kashmir Special Dhaniwal Korma is ready to serve
  • Now sprinkle some fresh chopped corrinder, mint , and fried onion over the top and serve hot for more taste
