  • 2 litre milk

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon semolina

  • 4 teaspoon ghee

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder

  • 1 tablespoon cashew nuts

  • 1 tablespoon raisins

  • 1 tablespoon milk


  • Boil the milk in a heavy bottom pan,when the milk starts boiling gradually add the lemon juice and stir slowly.
  • When milk gets curdled turns off the heat.
  • Now strain the chhena(cottage cheese)through a muslin cloth.
  • Mash the chhena till smooth.
  • Lightly fry the cashew nuts and raisins.
  • Add sugar,cardamom powder, fried nuts and milk to the chhena and mix properly.
  • Grease a baking tin with ghee,sprinkle some sugar and heat the pan to caramelized the sugar.
  • Pour the mixture in to the baking tin and bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degree for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Check the help of a toothpick if it's come out on a plate when it's hot.
  • Slice it and serve hot or cold.
