Ingredients

  • Green moong - 1 cup


  • Rice flour - 2 tbsps


  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp


  • Green chillies- 1 or 2


  • Ginger - 1 tsp


  • Coriander leaves - 2 tbsps


  • Salt - 1/2 tsp

Directions

  • Soak the moong for 5 hours.
  • Grind them adding green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds,coriander leaves,salt and water as needed.
  • Remove in a bowl and stir in the rice flour. Add little water and adjust the batter so that it can be spread easily on the tawa.
  • Heat a tawa , reduce the flame and spread a ladle of batter like dosa.
  • Spoon a little ghee or oil for roasting.
  • Spread upma like you do the potato masala and fold it .
