For green gram (cowpeas) idli
Soak the green gram Dal for 8 hours
Soak the idli rice, urad dal fenugreek for 2 hours separately
Grind soked green gram dal, Idli rice, urad dal separately and mix together and forment it for 7 to 8 hours
Divide the batter into two equal portions
Use one portion for swet idli and another one is for spicy idli
For sweet idli .... Add brown sugar or Palm jaggery to the better and mix well
For spicy idli... Heat one tbsp oil in a pan add mustard seeds finely chopped onion Chilli and saute it then cool it... add it to the another portion of batter
Add little salt to the batter and mix well
For the Idli batter into the Idli mould and stream it for 10 minutes.. same procedure for cowpeas idli
Fast sweet stuffed idli..rawrise urad dal fenugreek for 2 hours
add grated coconut while grinding
Grind it together and ferment it for 7 hours
For stuffing mix cooked moong dal grated coconut and Palm jaggery
Add little salt to the better and mix well
For half ladle batter in idli mould and add stuffing then add another half ladle of batter
Steam cook it for 10 minutes
