Raw rice 1 cup
Moongdal 1/2 cup
Jaggery 250gms
Water 4 cups
Cashews 6
Raisins 1/2 handful
Cardamom 4
Directions
Cook rice and moongdal together with water in a cooker upto 7 whistles.
Boil jaggery with little water and filter it to remove muds.
After opening the cooker add the jaggery syrup.
Fry cashews and raisins in the ghee and add it to the cooked rice.
Add powdered cardamom and mix everything well.
If necessary we can add some milk to obtain the required consistency.
