Ingredients
Serves :

2 cups besan,
4 -cups water,
1/2tsp salt or to taste
1/2tsp red chilli powder
2red chillies, finely slited
1/4tsp of asafetida
1/2 tsp ajwain (carom seeds
4 tsp oil,
2tsp ghee
For garnish
2spoons chopped coriander leaves,
2tsp red chilli oil for tarka
Directions
Dissolve or mix besan with water. In pan heat ghee, add, asafoetida, ajwain,curry leaves and 2red chillies,( finely slited) .
Reserve half of this for garnish.then add water-besan mixture, stirring constantly to avoid the lumps.
Add salt and chilli powder and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes or until besan is cooked and thick enough to set.
