Aamras is basically a mango nectar.
It is a traditional recipe and delicious Indian summer golden delight which goes very well with pooris, or One can relish it just as it is for a refreshing experience.

Ingredients
Serves : 2
2 large mangoes preferably Alphonso
1/4 th cup milk(optional)
1 tablespoon powdered sugar or as per the sweetness of the mangoes
5 strands saffron/kesar
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
1 mint sprig for the garnish
Directions
Rinse the mangoes(alphonso), peel and chop them.
Put the mango pieces in a blender jar. Add powdered sugar and saffron strands.
Blend the mangoes to smooth pulp.
To thin down the aamras, add milk.(optional)
Pour in small bowls and chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Garnish with saffron strands and serve it chilled.
