In a pan dry roast moong dal for 3-4 minutes and keep aside.
Into the same pan, add mustard oil.. temper with whole red chilli and paanch foron
Add ginger paste.. add pinch of salt and turmeric powder
Then add dry roasted moong dal
Mix them well together
Add grated bottle gourd, coriander powder and slitted green chillies..
Mix them.. cover.. cook it in a medium-low flame for 5 minutes..
After 5 minutes, uncover it and check..
Stir and cover it again..
Until dal gets softened, let them cook with cover
Lastly check seasoning, add required portion of salt and sugar..
Spread coriander leaves
Crush fried dal vadies.. add to the dal-lauki curry.. it gives a good crunch
Serve with plain steamed rice
