Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500g boneless chicken


  • 2 teaspoon ginger paste


  • 2 teaspoon garlic paste


  • 3 teaspoon sour curd


  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice


  • 2 teaspoon vinegar


  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder


  • 1/2 onion chopped


  • 1.5 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or as per taste


  • 6 tomatoes pureed


  • 3 tbsp butter


  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger


  • 1 green chillies finely chopped


  • 1 teaspoon sugar


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp cumin powder


  • 3 tbsp cream


  • 1-2 drops food colouring optional


  • 1/2 tsp salt or as per taste


  • 1 tbsp butter


  • 1.5 tbsp cream


  • 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Directions

  • Mix ginger paste, garlic paste, curd, lemon juice, vinegar, coriander powder, cumin powder salt, 1.5 tsp red chilli powder, onion in a bowl
  • Add chicken and marinate for 2 hour's
  • Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan. Add marinated chicken. Cover and cook until tender
  • In seperate pan, heat 2 tbsp butter. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, ginger, salt and chopped green chillies
  • Saute for 2-3 minutes. Add tomato puree and food colouring. Mix well
  • Cook over medium heat until puree thickens and fat starts leaving sides of the pan
  • Add puree to cooked chicken along with sugar and cream. Mix well
  • Cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes
  • Garnish with 1.5 tbsp fresh cream, chopped coriander leaves. Top with butter and serve hot
