Peanut Roasted Bengal gram Jaggery Laddoos


Laddoos are a very frequently made sweet dish in our Indian cuisine. It is also very quick and easy sweet to be prepared. There are a variety of Laddoos in our Indian food chain. These include the besan laddus. Then we have the moti Laddoos. Today l am preparing Laddoos out of peanuts, roasted Bengal gram and powdered jaggery. I am using jaggery instead of powdered sugar as it more healthy and people who diet and those with diabetes on the borderline can also enjoy without any restriction.

  • Roasted peanuts 1/4 cup

  • Roasted Bengal gram flour 1/2 cup

  • Powdered jaggery 1/4 cup

  • Cashewnuts 15 nos.

  • Ghee 5 tablespoons


  • Powder roasted peanuts, roasted Bengal gram flour, jaggery together in a blender or mixie
  • Now fry cashewnuts in ghee.
  • Now heat ghee in a tava. When it melts add it to the powdered peanut Roasted Bengal gram flour mixture. Now make balls out of this mixture.
  • Add the friend cashewnuts. Now the peanut-roasted Bengal gram Laddoos are ready to be eaten.
