Firstly in a big bowl marinate chicken with curd,1 tsp turmeric powder,Kashmiri red chilli powder,1/2 tsp garlic paste,1 tsp ginger paste, salt, 1/2 tsp sugar and keep it for half an hour, keep whole garlics in same bowl.
In a heavy bottomed pan heat oil properly,add 1/2 tsp sugar first,then add sliced onion ,fry it till it changes into golden brown.
Add ginger paste ,fry it till raw smell disappears,add tomato cubes , garlic paste and fry it for couple of minutes.
Now add marinated chicken , along with whole garlics, rest turmeric powder,red chilli powder, salt and cooked it for 10-12 minutes or oil become separated in medium flame ,stir it frequently.
Add warm water, covered it , cooked in low flame till it properly cooked.
Put off the flame; add garam masala powder, green chillies.
Serve hot with plain rice and enjoy.
