Rice flour-1/2 kg
chana dal-1 cuo
urad dal-1 cup
chopped ginger-2 tsp
chopped green chillies-7-8
Asefoetida-1 tsp
Anise-2 tsp
salt 4 tsp
oil-2 tsp
water 6 glass
Directions
soak chana dal and urad dal over night .in the morning blend coarsely dals,not a fine paste.
in a pan heat oil and add ginger, chilly, Asefoetida, Anise and blended dals.
mix everything well and cook for 3-4 minutes or till they turned thick. switch off the flame and let the mixture cool.
in a bowl take rice flour and add 1/2 glass warm water.gently mix flour and water.knead it well with hands.cover and set aside for 5 minutes.to make phare boil 4-5 glass water in a deep pan.add 1 tsp salt in boiling water.To make phare roll kneaded rice flour and take a small portion of rice flour.flat on your palm and fill with daal mixture and gently close the phare with fingers in cylindrical transfer. make all phare like this.Transfer these phare in boiling water. in between 5 minutes these phare will come on surface.This time take them out.Let the phare cool down and using a sharp knife cut them into small pieces.serve hot with curd and chutney.
