Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • For luchi : 1.5 cup refined flour /maida


  • 2 tbsp refined oil for moin


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 cup water


  • 2 -3 cups oil for deep fry


  • For Aalur torkari : 3-4 potatoes


  • 1 tsp kalonji


  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder


  • 1 tomato


  • 1 tsp salt / according to taste


  • 2 tbsp Mustard oil


  • 2 red chilli

Directions

  • For luchi : In a bowl take maida, and oil and salt make tight dough with water.
  • Now cover it with plate and leave it for 30 minutes.
  • Now make small balls and make puris.
  • Now deep fry them in hot oil.
  • For Aalur torkari : wash and peel off potatoes and cut into cubes.
  • Now heat a pan, add Mustard oil, add kalonji, red chilli then add potatoes and fry until it turns little golden colour.
  • Now add salt, Turmeric pd and fry 2 minutes more. Then add sliced tomatoes.
  • Now add required water then cover it and check after 15 minutes.
  • If potatoes were boiled well then turn off the gas flame.
  • Serve hot.
