Firstly boiled potatoes in salted water ,peel their skin and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan; add bay leaf, whole dry red chilli, cumin seeds, asafoetida , allow them to splutter.
Add boiled potatoes fry for 1-2 minutes ,then add ginger paste , sugar and fry it in high flame for couple of minutes.
Now add sliced tomatoes, green peas, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, salt and cooked for 5 -7 minutes.
Add a cup of water ,cover the pan ,cook it in low flame for 10 minutes.
Put off the flame; add slited green chillies, garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot and enjoy.
